I cant believe blogger bash was already a week ago. I feel like i just came home from the amazing adventure of Sweet Suite. This was my longest time away from my toddler. When i left he was beside himself yelling that he needed his “fip fops” so he could “go car” too. I knew when I returned I needed to come bearing gifts just in case he was still mad at the abandonment. One of the brands represented at Sweet Suite, Spin Master Games, provided me with their new Paw Patrol talking and light up Marshall to get back in my toddlers good graces.
I’d love to tell you I came home and he loved me, but I walked in after 9PM when he was nice and cranky from being tired and proceeded to have a meltdown because I dared take away Daddy to get my bags from the car. Once he calmed down, I showed him his new friend Marshall, and he snuggled on the couch to investigate. This soft 11 inch plush Marshall not only talks but his badge lights up when his belly is squeezed. Some toys that make noise when squeezed are too difficult even for my toddler to do, but a simple hug set Marshall barking. The toddler barked back and a friendship was formed.
Marshall barks, howls, and says catch phrase from the hit show such as, “lets go go go”, “I’m on it” “I’m fired up” and more! The hat comes attached to Marshall by a few threads on wither side of his head, and is easily removable with a quick snip of scissors. We chose to leave his hat on because its one less thing to lose, plus I imagine it would be hard keeping the hat on Marshall’s head once its off and the toddler is playing in full force! Marshall was just released to Toys R Us in May, and coming up in September he is being joined on the shelves by Chase!
